Beit El-Razzaz |
In an attempt to preserve cultural heritage, the Madinet Masr enterprise contributed to repairing Al-Razzaz House's roof. One organization dedicated to conserving and renewing Egypt's cultural heritage is the Madinet Masr Real Estate Development Company, which funds projects that aim to preserve and repair historical sites and customs.
When it comes to reviving Egypt's heritage, Madinet Masr is regarded as the first private-sector organization to do that. It collaborated with the Egyptian Heritage Rescue Foundation "EHRF" and "Anwal Al-Kohl for Carpets" to restore the elaborately decorated 18th-century reception ceiling in the eastern hall of the Beit Al-Razzaz house, which is more than 500 years old.

Moreover, during the Ottoman period, Ahmad Katkhda al-Razzaz was a prominent rice merchant , so this house was named in his honor.
