The sixth annual Art Awards Ceremony |
The Farouk Hosny Foundation for Culture and Arts is set to hold its sixth annual Art Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at 6:00 PM. The event will take place at the Gezira Art Center in Zamalek, under the patronage of the Egyptian Ministry of Culture.
This year’s awards cover five artistic fields: Painting, Architecture, Sculpture, Art Criticism, and Photography. A total of 2,141 artworks, architectural projects, and critical studies were submitted by 1,133 artists, architects, and researchers from various Egyptian governorates. The total prize fund, including the Grand Merit Award, amounts to 1 million EGP.
Alongside the awards ceremony, the foundation will inaugurate the Youth Group Exhibition, featuring the most distinguished artworks that made it to the final selection. This exhibition offers a unique opportunity for the public to discover emerging talents and explore the latest trends in the Egyptian art scene.
