The Islamic Ceramics Museum
                                                         


The Egyptian Ministry of Culture announced the reopening of the "Islamic Ceramics Museum" to the public after being closed for 14 years; returning to the cultural scene as one of the most important Egyptian museums, which is located within the palace of Prince Amr Ibrahim.


According to Ali Saeed, General Director of Art Centers in the Egyptian Fine Arts Sector.


The museum houses 315 rare pieces, including 116 pieces of Egyptian pottery, 118 of Turkish
pieces, 49 Iranian pieces, 25 from Syria, two from Andalusia, two from Iraq, two from Tunisia and one from Morocco.
