When I was young, I shared a strong bond with my father, who happened to be a basketball coach. I accompanied him to various clubs where he trained various teams. During one of those visits, I became enthralled with this sport and developed a keen interest in playing it myself. I dedicated myself to regular training and worked hard to improve my skills. Eventually, I joined the under-14 team and also had the privilege of training with the men's first team under my father's supervision, which allowed me to gain valuable experience and boost the process of development. Then I had the opportunity to train in El-Entag El Harby club with the under-14 squad before transferring to the Al-Sharqia Lldokhan Club, where I remained until accomplishing my first year with the under-16 team.

Then I pursued my journey at El-Dakhliya Club for two years, where I continually boosted my performance, talent, and techniques. Following that, I performed for four years at the Cairo Club, and presently, I am a player at the Assiut Club.

Abdelaziz added, that at each stage of my playing journey, I gained valuable skills and knowledge that have contributed to my overall development. This diverse experience has allowed me to excel in two different positions, leveraging my understanding and proficiency in each.

One of these positions is the Point Guard, who serves as the team's leader on the court. This role demands a range of skills, including exceptional passing, dribbling, and shooting abilities. The Point Guard must also possess the capacity to think quickly and make effective decisions under pressure. Additionally, they must be adept at recognizing and capitalizing on the strengths and capabilities of their teammates, while consistently delivering precise and incisive passes.

The second position is the Shooting Guard, who works in tandem with the Point Guard. In this role, the Shooting Guard excels in shooting, particularly from beyond the three-point line. They are also expected to exhibit strong defensive skills and proficient ball handling.

Similar to any other player, I possess distinctive skills, but the skill in which I truly excel is my speed and agility on the court, particularly in my ability to dash. Moreover, alongside my technical abilities, the unwavering belief and encouragement from my coach have played a significant role in setting me apart. The coach's confidence in my skills, even if they are not the best, has made a remarkable difference, due to the psychological aspect being important also.

However, I do acknowledge a weakness that I am determined to address, Yassin said "I struggle with separating my personal life from my performance on the court". This lack of separation negatively affects my concentration and ultimately hampers my overall performance. Nevertheless, I am actively working on this aspect to modify it.

In my role as a referee, I frequently find myself under pressure, having to make crucial decisions that can determine the outcome of a game. During these intense moments, I strive to be quick-witted and make the right choices at the appropriate time. Abdelaziz pointed out that “I am aware  that any delay or poor decision may result in consequences and make me solely accountable, even if I may only be partially responsible rather than solely responsible”.

There are instances where I may make a wrong or inappropriate judgment, as errors can occur in various ways. In such situations, I engage in discussions with my fellow referee on the court, sharing different perspectives. Audience, whether their team is winning or losing, often criticize the referees, rarely acknowledging their competence or fairness. Coaches and players object primarily because they seek justification or an explanation for a particular decision. As soon as the match pauses, I take the opportunity to clarify the situation and provide reasoning behind my judgment to address their concerns.

Lastly, I express my heartfelt gratitude to my father, who has been an exceptional source of support and encouragement throughout my journey. His constant guidance and advice motivated me to continuously enhance my skills. Audition that, I would like to extend this advice to all players and referees, urging them to give their utmost effort, continually develop themselves, and persevere despite the challenges they may encounter, a basketball and referee Abdelaziz Yassin stated.
